COLOR PRINCIPLES IN HAIR DYEING
You see reading the hair dye palette has many different colors, right? But basically the dye will be made up of 3 basic colors Red, Yellow, Blue.
From these 3 original colors, when combined, the second color will be produced:
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Red = Purple
Yellow + Blue = Green
From the second colors, when mixed with other colors with more or less content, it will produce additional colors, with all different shades. For example, as a brown dye, you can create Red Brown, Dark Brown, Chestnut Brown,…
INSTRUCTIONS FOR READING HAIR DYING PATTERN
On the hair dye palette, you will see a lot of hair dye colors, with numbers such as 5.35, 6.43, 0.88 corresponding to a different color. And on the dye box there are the same numbers. So what do those numbers mean?
The parameters on the hair dye and color palette will include 2 numbers or 3 numbers, according to the structure:
[Level of color].[Main tone] (Example: 6.3 or 4.0)or [Level of color].[Main Tone][Secondary Tone] (Example: 6.43, 4.64…)
>>> (Note: the “.” can be replaced by a slash “/” depending on the type).
How to read the hair dye palette as follows:
+ Level of color: also known as color depth, the color level will go from the darkest level to the lightest level. The first number in the sequence, preceded by a “.” or “/”
+ Main color tone: separate color, showing the main color of the hair color. Is the number adjacent to the “.” or “/”
+ Sub Tone: Shows the color of the hair reflected in the light. The last number in a 3-digit sequence. It still uses the same parameter as the primary tone.
After understanding the structure of the number sequence on the hair dye palette, you will proceed to compare those numbers corresponding to each color as follows:
+ LEVEL OF COLOR
1 – Black (Black)
2 – Very Dark Brown
3 – Dark Brown
4 – Medium Brown
